Duffield Castle – National Trust
This was a brief with the University of Derby for the National Trust on Duffield Castle.

We had to respond to the subject of the Castle and create something related to it’s ruins. I decided to have the castle stones come together to rebuild it. The stones are on fire because the castle was demolished In 1266 by King Henry III, and a previous wooden version of the keep was also burned down. The textured background is made up of 12 photographs of some of the remaining stone foundations at the site of the castle.
